For as long as I can remember, I’ve looked at the worlds inside video games and movies and immediately started translating them into sound. My creative process is driven by those exact moments—taking a striking visual scene, a heavy narrative shift, or a specific atmospheric mood and figuring out how to describe them through music. Recording under the moniker NoMojo (aka Michael Baker), I create instrumental soundscapes that evolve naturally in response to whatever captures my imagination at the time. It’s a process I genuinely love, and this project grew out of a simple desire to share those creations with others. Whether you need a dark, mechanical pulse to back your latest livestream or a sweeping, emotional score to ground a film project, I wanted to build a resource that helps fellow storytellers elevate their own work without worrying about copyright flags. While the curated, stream-safe catalog over on my YouTube channel is my way of giving back to the community, I am also stepping into the next chapter of my musical journey. On May 30, 2026, I am releasing my first official, full-length studio album under my legal name, Michael Baker, which will be available across Apple Music, Spotify, and all major streaming platforms.
